Beginning of the "Orientation Courses"

On this day, Monday, March 10th, the Institute of Philosophy of the Consolata Fathers initiates a series of courses for a period of four months called orientation courses. These courses involve young aspirants of various Congregations and Religious Institutes eager to begin the next academic year their studies of philosophical formation. Our congregation for the account of Kenya prensented this year seven candidates for this course. These are:
+ Martin Njung’e Kamau
+ Francis Keya Maina
+ Charles Simali
+ Geoffrey Njuguna
+ Austine Namusende Muteshi
+ Cornelius Kirwa
+ Samuel Muthoka Mutua

They have all completed their secondary school education curriculum with the level required by the Universities. Since the first week of Februaryon presentation of the in charge of Vocation Deacon Morris Mawira and invitation of the Superior, Father Paul Mboche, they lived with us and experienced more closely our everyday reality. They have been invited by everyone members of the formation team to really fit into the life of the Community and on our everydayness activities. With their elders in years of philosophy, they share a number of responsibilities, whom with the sacristans, whom assisting the in charge of animals, garden, manual work, leisure, games and recreation...
As they begin this morning this crucial first stage of their formation and which will determine their academic ability to for philosophical formation, we wish them good luck and accompany them with our prayers. The Holy Mass was offered this morning for them. May Saint Luigi Orione and the Blessed Virgin accompany and enlighten them!
